Dr. J. Reed Butler
Dr. J. Reed Butler, D.D.S. MS, a native of Northeast Texas, currently lives on a small ranch south of Bartlesville. Dr. Butler attended Texas A&M University for his undergraduate work, Baylor College of Dentistry for Dental school, and the University of Oklahoma for his periodontal surgery residency. During his residency, Dr. Butler's research was involved with bone regeneration and the placement of dental implants. He has articles published in several national and international journals on the subjects. Today, he specializes in implant surgery and periodontics.
Having been raised on a ranch, his free time is spent working with his livestock. He raises show quality horses and cattle. He has had several Champions on the state and national level in the cattle industry. He also loves spending time with his beautiful wife and children.
Dr. Butler's surgical assistant, Shelly, has been working with him for over fifteen years. She competed as a professional barrel horse racer. She is still competing on a part-time basis.
